Blue Muse (Kotare) | Fine Art Prints
Giclee art Prints of “Blue Muse”, a mixed media painting by Monica Schinkel depicting a kotare/royal kingfisher seen from her studio window.
Kingfishers always seem to be sitting on their perch and watching for their kai. I also do plenty of sitting and watching - of the kingfishers! It is hard not be inspired by these gorgeous birds when I have the pleasure of watching from my studio window. It can get quite distracting having this flash of blue swoop down from his perch when he spots a tasty morsel on the lawn for his chicks!
These prints are now limited to an edition of 100, with:
