The Shared Adventures Collection is an anthology of stories, told through paint, of adventures from throughout New Zealand, shared by fellow kiwis who love to explore, view the sights, and tell stories. We are adventurers. We feel most alive when we chase waterfalls, beaches, rivers, and lakes. We climb mountains, watch birds, hop over rocks, discover new places, or sometimes even visit one of those insta-famous spots.

This collection of artworks are of moments collected by myself and others from our adventures. I will share more about this specific artwork nearer the bottom of the page, should you like to hear about it. But first, I invite you to enjoy the artwork without reading those words, and let it remind you of one of your own adventures, or let it inspire another one.

About this artwork:

This adventure is by Kate White, on Stewart Island.

Here’s what she had to say about it:

“The tree was on a 12 day tramp around Stewart Island - such a beautiful open forest (thanks to the whitetail deer). So worth sacrificing precious phone battery for.”

Another place on my ‘yet to explore’ list: Stewart Island. An ideal destination for the kiwi explorer. There are 3 forest artworks in this series, which all look darling alone, or would make a perfect set to fill a horizontal or vertical space on the wall of a NZ bush lover.
