Misty Moments | 40 x 60 cm Original Artwork
Misty Moments was the first painting in this series. It is the one painting that I started planning the second that I viewed the scene in person. The trees on the peninsula sticking out against the fog was just so striking that I had to paint it. I needed to. So, this was the first original artwork that I completed upon returning from my South Island holiday.

The Misty Moments Collection is a two-part collection including hand-painted earrings and original artworks. The collection was inspired by quiet and still moments from exploring the West Coast’s Lake Mapourika in a small boat, in between camping at the local campground over a few days. It is about finding joy in stillness, and allowing beautiful things to lift you.
